Terrance (Terry) Lee Monroe, 62 of Thorn Hill passed away August 1st at UT Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by parents W.L. and Bertha Monroe, brother Toby Monroe.
Survived by his wife of 43 years Sherry Monroe, sons Christopher (Jenny) Monroe and Andrew (Jill) Monroe, daughter Hannah (Matthew) Fox, grandchildren Jeremiah, Evelyn, Aidan, Jazalyn, and Aubree-June Monroe, brothers Dennis (Marion) Monroe and Lee (Melissa) Monroe, sisters Jean Roberts, Janice Campbell, Janet England, Kathy Hatmaker, and Lisa (Danny) Browning, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday August 4th from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Sunday August 5th at 2 PM in the Neil Cemetery in Powder Springs with Military Honors. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
