In his spare time Samuel built ice cream stick houses and enjoyed fishing. He attended a holiness church and was strong in his faith.
Samuel was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Metcalf, parents Thelma and Clifford Moore, nephew Tommy Williams, several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his ex-wife Barbara Seals. Sisters Diane (Cornelius) Williams, Judy (Roosevelt) Barnett, and Helen (Jimmy) Lambert. Brothers Norman (the late Carolyn) Moore and Larry (Onalee) Moore. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday September 25, 2022 from 5 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday September 26, 2022 at 11 AM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will follow in the Moore Cemetery in Ewing, VA.
