Robert Taylor

Robert Paul Taylor 23, formerly of New Tazewell TN, passed away May 13th, 2018. He was saved on April 27, 2007 and was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Speedwell TN. He was a 2013 graduate of Claiborne High School. After graduating he served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 2013 until 2017. He was based at Camp Lejeune, NC. He resided in Winston-Salem NC. Robert is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Paul Violet. His aunt Sudie Warwick.

He is survived by his parents Michael and Michele Gilbert of New Tazewell. Sisters Michaela Gilbert of New Tazewell and Shelby Taylor of Lafollette TN. Grandparents Rose Hurst of New Tazewell and Robert Taylor of New Tazewell. Nephew Zaedyn Taylor of Lafollette TN. Aunt Traci Ayers of New Tazewell. Uncle Rocky and Melba Webb of Harrogate TN. Cousins Travis Ayers, Trevor Ayers, Tyler Wolfenbarger, Nicole and Eric Little, Hannah Webb, Jonathan Carmack, Misty and Derek Bentley, Ethan and Sydney Little, JoyLynn Ayers, Adam, Abel and Alex Wolfenbarger.

The family will receive friends Wednesday May 16th from 5 until 8 PM at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 8 PM at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be Thursday May 17th at 11 AM in The Pine Grove Cemetery with Military Honors.
