Ray Estes

Ray Estes age 84 of Tazewell, TN was born October 29, 1932 and passed away March 17, 2017 at Tennova Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church but attended Tazewell Baptist Church. He served in Germany in the US Army for 2 years. He was co-owner of Springdale Shell Superette for years. He liked to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Laura Bolton Estes; brothers-in-law, Doug Shipley, Joe Ferguson, Jack & (Bennie Mae) Ferguson; niece, Tina Jo Fugate Johnson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years: Mary Lou Estes of Tazewell, TN

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday March 19, 2017 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN with funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. Sunday in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the Irish Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Monday
