Perry Whitaker Jr.

He was saved at an early age at Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army from 1959 - 1961. He loved to hunt and fish.

He is preceded in death by his parents Perry and Alfia (England) Whitaker.

Perry is survived by his wife of 61 years Mildred (Earls) Whitaker and son Dustin Whitaker. Daughter Donna Sue Whitaker Riggs and husband Gary. 3 Granddaughters and 6 Great great grandchildren, as well as one on the way. Honorary Granddaughter Joslin Faith Turner. As well as a host of other family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregiver Danielle Greene.

The family will receive friends Monday October 30, 2023 from 6 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of life to follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel.
