Mrs. C. A. Torbett Jr. (Mary Lou) was born September 22, 1934 in Frakes, KY. Died January 23, 2023. She was vice president of C. A. Torbett, Inc. Where she worked many years with her husband C. A. Torbett Jr. “Bud” who is deceased. They were married 61 years.
Her greatest love was her husband “Bud”, her church and her children. She was an active member of New Tazewell Christian from the age of 20 years old.
She is survived by daughter Karen Torbett. “Like a son” Michael Lawson is deceased.
Son Allen Torbett.
Daughter-in-law Robin.
Grandson Rhett Torbett.
Son Gregory Torbett is deceased.
The family will have a celebration of life Saturday June 24th at the New Tazewell Christian Church. Receiving of friends will be from 1 to 2 pm with the memorial service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery following the service.
