

Margaret Ann Lewis Walker passed away April 16, 2013, at Claiborne County Nursing Home at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband Neil Walker, parents Milt and Ella Farmer Lewis, six sisters, 2 brothers, and son-in-law Warren (Bud) Robinson. Margaret was a member of New Salem Baptist Church for 63 years and will be deeply missed, especially when it comes time for a church meal. Nanny, as we call her, loved having the whole family around for a meal, having friends and relatives visit, cooking a big meal for the church, and admiring her flowers.
She is survived by her Son: Bob Walker and special Daughter-in-law, Linda Brooks Walker

Our family wants to give special thanks to Dr. Richard Clark; the staff of Claiborne County Nursing Home, who took wonderful care of our mother; the nurses at Claiborne County Hospital; and special friends, Pat & Roy Fowler, who sent her a vase of flowers every month to the nursing home.
The family will be receiving friends, Friday April 19, 2013, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral will be at New Salem Baptist Church on Little Sycamore Road in Tazewell, TN at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday April 20, 2013.
