Lynn Ellison

Lynn E. Ellison age 75 of New Tazewell, TN, was born July 28, 1942 and passed away March 30, 2018. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to many. Lynn converted his barn into Lonesome Valley Baptist Church and services are still held there today. He enjoyed fishing, hunting ginseng, and spending time with his family. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents Ledford and Angeline Ellison, wife Barbara Ann Ellison, son Michael Ellison, daughter-in-law P.J. Ellison, grandchildren Amanda Jane Ellison, Michael and Michelle Ellison, and Ledford Ellison, brother Lewis Ellison, sisters Marie Masingo and Shirley Ellison.

He is survived by his daughters Sonya (George Brewer) Ellison and Angela (Clay) Duncan. Grandchildren Brittany Price, Tyler Shane Williams, Alexis Elaine Williams, Michael Jessee, Kelly Lee Jessee, and Michael Aaron Price. Siblings Troy Ellison, Madge Dalton, Cecil Ellison, Charles Ellison, Larry Ellison, and Buck Ellison. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive friends Monday April 2, 2018 from 2 until 4 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday April 2, 2018 at 4 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel and burial will follow in the Ellison Family Cemetery in Lonesome Valley.

Officiating will be Rev. Dallas Herrell. Singers will be Gary Kyees and Miles Dalton. Pallbearers: Steve Ellison, Tyler Ellison, George Brewer, Timothy Harville, Clay Duncan and Kenny King.
