Lenville Young, age 83, of Tazewell, Tennessee his sunrise was on February 24, 1940 and his sunset was on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, he went to his Heavenly home after a short battle with health complications.
He was born to Leonard and Oma Young of Tazewell, TN. On October 4, 1961 he married Shirley Hall and started their journey to Michigan before Christmas that same year. Lenville joined alongside his brothers a career at Rawsonville Ford Plant in Ypsilanti MI. That following summer their family began Lenville and Shirley have three children; Gary (Tangy) Young, Larry (Lauri) Young, and their only daughter Brenda (Melvin) Freeman, and a bonus daughter Ronnie Sue Hall. Eight grandchildren; Tony (Amanda) Young, Suzy (Noah) Bukis, Amanda Young, Jenessa Young (George Lucero), Vinnie, Maxwell, Mitchell (Tori) and Mason Freeman. On October 4th they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary, unfortunately seperated due to his illness. Over 30 years of loyalty to plant life he retired and chose to return back to Tazewell, TN where Lenville and Shirley both committed their time and effort to their elderly mothers. Of course Lenville finding every way possible to fish in between. They provided a beautiful home where family and friends would always find a pot of coffee, a game of cards, a table full of food, and a fish tale or two. As well as their Michigan home it was always an open door to whomever needed it. Many times their home in Michigan would have their children's friends over for days. Lenville took pride in showing them the latest fishing lure or in the fall there would be hunting tips, guaranteeing squirrel, rabbit, or pheasant dumplings in the morning after sleepovers.
(Papaw, Gramps, Grandpa) loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren; although he may not have been able to spend a lot of time together, but when he did he made sure they all felt loved and cherished. Our father's legacy was not made up of money and material things, he will be remembered for his character and his faith in the Lord.
