Larry J Worley

He was saved at Pleasant Valley Church at a young age, and had always talked about how they broke the ice to get baptized in the creek. He is a member of Chittum Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

His work ethics were very strong, and he didn't stop until the job was finished. He taught us that we were no better than anyone, but no one was better than us. He was the best husband, dad, pap, and friend. He gave so much to his family and friends, even after his life was finished he donated all his organs. He loved to fish, hunt, camp, and always "piddle around".

He is preceded in death by his parents, Schultz and Inez Worley. His father and mother-in-law, Ed and Maxie England.

Larry is survived by the love of his life for 50 years, Gladys Worley. His brother Jerry Worley. His daughters Tina Middleton (George Middleton), and Leslia Worley-Ray (Billy Ray). His grandchildren Samantha Brown (Jeff Brown), Courtney Epperson (Blake Epperson), Skyler Cox (Peyton Bolden), Raven Cox, Paige Middleton, Taylor Middleton, Walker Ray, and Katie Walker. Great grandchildren Addison Brown, Paxton Seals, Emmitt Seals, Camden Epperson, Neyland Epperson, Maggie Epperson, Noah Brown, and unborn Sage Bolden. His beloved dog, Rosco. Also, a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 28, 2023 from 4 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM. in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday December 29, 2023 at 11 AM in the Pearson Turner Cemetery.
