Kenneth Eugene Gulley Sr.

Kenneth Eugene Gulley age 71 of New Tazewell, TN passed away at Claiborne Medical Center on December 4, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Rhonda Jane Gulley and Mary Ann Gulley; parents, Onwen Vervil Gulley and Mary Florence Gulley. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of New Tazewell. He was also a member of Iron Eagle Disciple Motorcycle Group and a fire fighter for over 25 years and was in Claiborne Sheriff Department for several years as a deputy, constable and transport officer. He is survived by his loving wife: Linda Jane Combs Gulley of New Tazewell, TN; Brothers: John Vervil Gulley and wife Kay Gulley of Arthur;Troy Lee Gulley of Dayton, Ohio; He is also survived by special cousins that were like brothers to him: Otto Smith of Speedwell, TN; Wayne Epperson of Arthur, TN; He is also survived by his daughters: Sandra Manning and husband Ben Manning of Cumberland Gap;Lisa Smith and grandson Cole of Knoxville, TN; Son: Kenneth Eugene Gulley, JR and wife Cynthia Gulley of Cumberland Gap and Son Brandon Combs of New Tazewell, TN; 3 Grandsons and 1 Granddaughter: Shawn Roark and Chasity King of Harlan, KY

Trevor Gulley and wife Kendra Gulley of Cumberland Gap; Dustin Gulley of Cumberland Gap; Kendra Horton and husband Joe Horton of Bulls Gap, TN

5 great Grandchildren: Addisyn Roark, Cayden Horton, Raeley Gulley, Malachi Gulley and Flyntt Roark; Special Brother-in-law: Lewis (Bud) Farmer

Special Niece and Nephew: Ronnie and Trish Smith; Special Nephews: Travis Farmer and Hayden Smith; Special Niece: Audrey Farmer

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A special thank you to the UT Cancer Center doctors and nurses for being so good to him, and Claiborne Medical Center Staff and Employees for all the special care he received while he was in their care. Kenneth loved life and he loved to make people smile.

The family will receive friends from 4 until 9 P.M. Tuesday December 6, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell, TN. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday December 7, 2016 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Gulley Family Cemetery.
