Janelle Dawn Powell was born in Hyden, Ky and she resided in Harrogate, TN. She grew up with a love and passion for softball throughout her childhood. She graduated Greenon High School in 1999. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Prudie Clemons; grandfather, Sigle Clemons; grandmother, Dee Rothe; grandfather, Jim Rothe; Her Angel Baby; Uncles, Chan Clemons and Boyd Clemons. Soon after she fell in love with her life-long partner Joshua Powell. For 22 years they grew and raised their family.
She had two children, McKinna and Alan (A.J.) Powell, who she loved dearly. She celebrated their slightest achievements and was always their # 1 fan. She graduated from the University of Phoenix in October of 2013. Soon after she found herself at the daycare and never left. She loved her job and even more importantly she loved her babies. She will always be remembered for her helping heart, the huge amount of love she gave to everyone around her, and most importantly the love she had for her family.

Father: Quinton Clemons; Mother: Dena Ashenfelter; Sister: Janette Clemons; Father-in-law: Tim Crabtree; Mother-in-law: Dorothy Powell; Bonus Sister: Tiffany Hall; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN for Janelle Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel in Harrogate, TN Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Graveside service in the Harrogate Cemetery to follow Sunday, August 29, 2021.
