JAMES ELLISON, AGE 78 OF Monroe, Michigan, formerly of Tazewell, Tn. Died at 3:30am Sat, March 26, 2011 at the Magnum Care and Rehab Center.
He was born April 30, 1932 in Tazewell, Tn. to the late Floyd and Elizabeth (Rowland) Eillison. He was a farmer in Tenn. most of is life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Eppie Hurst, Ethel Baker, Gladys Campbell and Thelma Burchett; brothers, Oscar and Ray Ellison.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Sat., April 2, 2011 at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in New Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 2:00PM with Rev. Hollis Baker officiating. Singer will be Linda Miller. Graveside service to follow at the Cave Springs Cemetery with the nephews as pallbearers.
