During his lifetime Horace was a man who enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed going to work at his job and took pride in what he did. When he wasn't at work he could be found doing woodwork, fishing, restoring vehicles, hunting, or any number of activities that could keep him busy.
Horace will be buried next to his wife, and mother of his child, Hattie Jordan. Besides his wife Horace is preceded in death by several siblings and his parents.
He is survived by his significant other of 12 years Susie Allison. Daughter Loretta Anderson. Grandchildren Brandi Smolinsky, Miranda Garner, and Lonny Jordan. Nine Great Grandchildren. Brother Billy Ray Jordan. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Any donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to Coffey Funeral Home. The family extends their appreciation for all help and prayers.
There will be a graveside for Horace in the Greer Cemetery in New Tazewell on Friday September 20, 2024 at 4 PM. The family requests anyone who would like to go in procession to meet at Coffey Funeral Home by 3:30 PM.
