Helen Massengill

Helen Lucille Venable Massengill age 72 went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2011. She professed her Faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Duncan Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Massengill; parents, Tilmon and Lura Venable; brothers, Bobby Clyde and Billy Joe, Clarence, Claude, Shirley, Cecil, and Darwin Venable; sisters, Edith Green, Ellen Jane Venable; great grandchild: Skylie Massengill.

She is survived by Son: Steve ( Linda) Massengill

Daughters: Louise (Floyd) Poore

Vannah (Bill) Shipley

Grandchildlren: Charles Masengill, Shannon Smith, Susan Poore Collins, Hannah Massengill, Samuel Shipley and Jordan Shipley

Great Grandchildren: Cheyenne Manning, Challen Massengill, Joey Manning, Jacob Amburn

Helen had a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Sunday night March 20, 2011 at the Coffey funeral Home in Tazewell with funeral service to follow at 8:00 P.M. Sunday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at 11:00 A.M. Monday March 21, 2011 in the Baldwin-Duncan Cemetery.
