Fred Franklin Cook, age 83, of Morristown, Tennessee was born November 2, 1938. passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 peacefully at his home. Fred was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He worked as a contractor in the building trades for over 40 years, were he built and remodeled many homes in the Lakeway area. Fred served his country in the United States Army. He also loved to listen to gospel music. Fred was still active in remodeling around his home up until his last days.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mack Henry and Dovie Wolfe Cook; brothers Herbert, Clarence, Lowell, Leonard, Ray, Carl, James Russell, Bert Cook and many other relatives.

Son: Bradford Todd Cook
Sisters: Ella (Oliver) Boldin;
Bubbis Ruth Cook
Ann (Randy) Widner;
several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Fred will be Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, Morristown, TN. Followed by visitation also on Monday August 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home . Funeral service will follow Monday evening at 7:00 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Cook Cemetery In Upper Caney Valley Tazewell, TN.
