Carolyn Evans

Carolyn was saved September 6,1964 at Forge Ridge Baptist Church, until moving her letter to Riverview Missionary Baptist Church in 1980 where she remained a member.

Carolyn was a natural care giver to all that knew her, she never met a stranger. Most of all she loved God and her family.

Preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Geneva Ellison Shoffner, son, Gary Wayne Evans and brother Billy Shoffner.

Survived by husband of 53 years Kenneth Evans;

Sons and daughters , Ricky Evans, Kenneth Evans Jr, Melissa McFall, Angela Eads, Paul Partin, Christopher Atkins, Dawn Buffington, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 P.M. Saturday August 22, 2020 at Riverview Baptist Church. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Sunday August 23, 2020 at Riverview Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Ministers: Rev. Mark Sutton and Rev. James Shoffner; Singer: Randie Massengill; Pallbearers: Tony Eads, Billy Eads, James Eads, Dillon Evans, Kevin Evans, Corey Evans; Honorary Pallbearers: Aiden Thomas, Noah Evans, Chestin Mullins.
