A man of few words, like Papaw Roy, I knew if they had something to say, it was important! Weekends spent at Mamaw and Papaw’s house often meant peanut butter fudge and a game of cards with you both, and those are some of my best childhood memories. Buster was always a kind and caring man. Maybe him and Papaw are up there playing cards right now. Love you Gin!

After my first haircut ever, Buster cut my hair for the next 25 years until I moved away semi-permanently. He was so gentle and relaxing with his craft, it became a bit in my family about how I would fall asleep in his chair every time. 

Buster was terrible about keeping his page-a-day calendar updated at his shop, so it was my job to update it every month or two when I would come in to have my mane tamed. You could heat your house with the amount of pages I had to tear off for Buster, but I was always glad to do it.

He was a good man and a great barber.

Some of my favorite memories growing up were those summers we spent helping Buster with his tobacco crop. He also always came to visit my dad when he was sick or needed anything. He was an amazing man. 

So very sorry for your loss. I always loved to see him come in the store. He was such a sweetheart and I feel the same about you. Love and prayers

Never will forget how humble and nice he always was. He always spoke and was his same cheerful self every time I seen him. Lots of great memories. I know he will be missed. Many prayers for his family. 

So many great memories growing up being with Buster and Virginia and family playing games pulling candy over a hot stove and what great memories I’ll never forget
