Betty Jo Collins

Betty Jo Collins professed her faith in Christ at a young age at Bethel Baptist Church and was a long time member of River View Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Joe Edward and Anna Pearl Baker, sister Barbara Brooks, brothers Donnie, John and Joe Jr Baker. Betty Jo is survived by her husband of 54 years William R. Collins of New Tazewell, TN. Daughter Lisa R. Beason of New Tazewell, TN. Son William R. II and Jessica Collins of New Tazewell, TN. Grandchildren Bradley Joseph Beason of Knoxville, TN, Qurstin R. Collins of Tazewell, TN, and William R. Collins III of Tazewell, TN. Great granddaughter Harper R. Beason of Greenville, SC. Sister Dinah Hale of Simi Valley, CA. Brother Dale Wayne Baker of Tazewell, TN. Betty Jo was a custodian of CW Gose Park for the city of New Tazewell. But her best achievement and joy in life was being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.

The family will receive friends Wednesday November 28th from 6 until 8 PM at Coffey Funeral Home in New Tazewell, the funeral service will follow at 8 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held Thursday November 29th at 10 AM in Irish Memorial Cemetery.
