Terese Ann Geoghegan

Terese Ann DePeter Geoghegan, age 61, of New Port Richey, Florida unexpectedly passed into the Lord’s care on December 28, 2022. Terri was born January 19, 1961 to Joseph and Ann DePeter in Rockville Centre, Long Island, New York. She attended Newfield High School in Selden, New York and met her husband Stephen in 1975.

Steve and Terri married in Jamesport, New York on February 3, 1979. Their growing family relocated to Florida in 1986 to plant roots which would continue to thrive. She was married to Steve for 44 years and left this world brimming with gratitude for the family she and Steve built together.

Terri was an extraordinarily strong woman of Christ, devoted wife, mother, and memaw. She was truly a bright light, touching the lives of many with her compassion, generosity, and joy. With her whole heart, she seized each and every opportunity for celebration and the lifting up of others.

Terri leaves behind her husband and best friend Steve; children Daniel, Kelli (Matthew), Brian (Katrina), and Katherine; grandchildren Caleb, Joshua, Avery, Claire, and Eloise; mother Ann; siblings Kathleen and Patrick; and beloved dog Oliver. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph and brother Kevin.

A memorial gathering for Terese will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, followed by a Christian service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
