Orfa Lydia Ortiz

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our mother, Orfa Lydia Ortiz Guzman, whom we referred to as “Lily” or “Mami”. She left us on July 30, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. Full of love and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 4244 Madison Street New Port Richey, FL 34652 on August 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.

Lily is survived by:

Children: Victor Giovanni Marckwortd (son), Martha Yessenia Stephens (daughter), Norby Alexis Ortiz (son), Danny Norberto Ortiz (son), Madelyn Lily Hughes (daughter)

Grandchildren: Yessenia White, Jacob Ortiz, Nathan Mayes, Sabrina White, Mateo Ortiz, Jocelyn Stephens, William White III (Trey), Nora Ortiz, Danny Ortiz (DJ), Rubi Marckwortd, Stephanie Marckwortd, Gabriela Marckwortd and Carlos Marckwortd

Great-Grandchildren: Isabella Salas, Allison Salas and Lucas Marckwortd

She is also survived by her siblings in Guatemala, Neptali Jonatan Guzman and Marta Leticia Guzman de Gomez.

A celebration of life for Orfa will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652, followed by a committal service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM.
