Nancy Zutell was bon in Copiague, New York on April 12, 1957. She was the oldest of five children. She moved to Tampa, Florida in 1969. Nancy is survived by her parents, Richard and Lorraine Zutell, siblings, Steven (Cathy) Zutell, Thomas (Charles McElroy) Zutell, Linda Zutell, and Dorothy (Joe) Burgess. Her children, Jennifer Brueske, Kristina (Ryan Chamberlin) Workman, and Robert Workman, III. Grandchildren, JoAnna (C.J.) Harris, Nicholas Brueske, Zacary Blye, Alexander Brueske, Mikayla Workman, and Ryleigh Brueske. Great Grandchildren, Carter Harris and Mason Harris. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nancy was passionate about helping other people. This passion led her to a career as a medical assistant, a CNA, and most recently, a bus assistant for special needs kids. She loved her family fiercely. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was always top on her "to do" list. Nancy was a devout Christian, who loved her God, and her congregation.
Her vibrancy could always be seen in the beautiful colors she loved to wear. Nancy's hobbies consisted of scrapbooking, crafts, sending special cards to others, and going to the beach. This world will be a darker place without her light shining in it.
Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Service to begin at 3:00 P.M. with a reception to follow.
