Mark was a great man, husband and father. I was blessed to have him as a boss for 1.5 yrs in the late 90's. He was the antithesis of the previous owner of our company. I regret that our time together ended abruptly, however, I'm grateful to have known him as a friend and boss. God Bless your family.

I have been wanting to write a note, but the sad truth is, I think the reality of Mark's passing is just now beginning to sink in. Jim and I have been trying to console each other, with mixed results. When Jim called with the news, Christa's and my hearts sank. While it is true we have not known you guys as long as Jim has, some friendships are immediate and true from the first meeting. This was the case with each of you. When I first met Mark, I knew we were brothers in spirit. It is not often that such a friendship comes along, so I knew he was a special person.

Christa loved teasing me when games were on because Mark and I would text each other non stop. Christa would suggest it was as if we were watching the game together. I also loved the Saturday morning music videos Mark would send. As you may know, we shared a love of the same music. Mostly, I loved his visits and trips to the Gorge. Indeed, the very best time was when you, Brenda, came with him, and the time after that you guys brought Lara and Paige. Those times we shared are the memories we will have with us for as long as we live.

Whenever I drink wine, Mark will be in my thoughts as to whether he would like the taste, and me wishing he was there to share the bottle. Please know Mark's spirit will live on in us, and the memories will always bring smiles. His friendship will be missed, but his memory will last forever. Mark my good buddy you have left us far too soon. I have thought of you many times the last few weeks finding it hard to face the fact that your gone. We would have just finished our Red River Gorge camping adventure this weekend which we both were looking so forward to. The back country camping spot I had located was spectacular. I know you would have loved camping there in the woods next to a beautiful creek in the solitude of the Gorge with a roaring camp fire and good food.
There are too many things to list that I will miss about my good buddy and it will be hard but I guess we must move on. Although now with a missing part. I will catch you on the other side my friend. Brenda and Lara, you know I will always be here for you.

Brenda and Lara, I was so shocked and saddened when I heard of Mark's passing. He was so important to Doug, and was a great friend to the rest of my family. We have many funny and fond memories of Mark. I know you have such sorrow in your hearts, but know that Mark is with you always. God bless you both.

          I worked with Mark a few years back in the lighting business and he was always such a warm and friendly person and had a great business mind. He would always ask how my wife Maxine was doing with that booming voice of his. From what everyone has written it goes much deeper, it just doesn't make sense that he is gone now. Have a safe trip Mark and we'll see you on the other side. Thoughts and prayers with his family.

He was truly one of a kind and I will miss him and our non business conversations. I considered him a friend first and will miss those early morning calls as I drove into work daily. Dear Mark,  This is such a shock, such a loss.  I am grateful for the times we had together.  I am regretting we had not connected lately.  You, Brenda and Lara were a special part of our family.  My brother-in-law had a unique way of making us laugh, making us think, and just enjoying life.  Brenda and Lara, I hope we can reconnect too.  You are in my prayers.

Mark was very special to me and I truly miss the lively telephone conversations we had.  I even have your birthday card signed and ready to send this month. Mark, Brenda and Lara played a large part in my childhood on Wisper Run Court.  Lara and I were the only girls in the neighborhood for years and Mark always encouraged Lara and I to be fearless and to keep up with the boys so we would never miss out.  It's this life-loving outlook that I will remember most about Mark.  Mark, you are missed.  Brenda and Lara, you are in my thoughts.

I am deeply saddened by his sudden unexpected death. Wished I could have taken the time to have a couple of Pina Coladas with Mark. He surely will be missed by all.

Mark was a friend of mine since grade school,We have kept in touch through social media.We always got together at class reunions and tipped a few cocktails together,the man had some great toast,I will miss the legacy of the Rabbit,he had a remarkable zest for life.My prayer go out to his family,see ya one the other side brother.

There was a small gang of us who lived at the top of Meridian St. back in the 1960s --Judy Huse, Mark & Cindy and myself.  We put a lot of miles on our bikes back then and played many games of kickball in the IGA parking lot.  My thoughts go out to Mark's family and many friends.

What a great friend you were in high school. After you "friended" me on FaceBook recently I was looking forward to reconnecting and catching up at our upcoming HS reunion. Another lesson in never take anything or anyone for granted; enjoy every moment of life because we never know when God will call us home. So sad you had to leave everyone so soon. Mark, I've known you for as long as I can remember and as I grew up you went from being a great neighbor to a beloved friend. I always appreciated the times we spent together a few times a year at Sebring and my parents' parties along with all of the jokes, smiles, laughter and advice that came with them.

Thank you for always welcoming me as part of your family. Most importantly, thank you for Lara. When I look at her, I see my sisters. 

A funny thing I remember is how you used to pet the bellies of your goldfish. I also recall being in grade school and you letting us watch "Married with Children," only to ask a few minutes later if we were allowed to watch it. Of course, we said we were allowed to watch it, even though we had never seen it before. :)
