Lawrence J. Roganti; 88 of Port Richey, Florida passed away on March 9, 2012. He was born in Manhattan, New York to Angelo & Maria Roganti on February 18, 1924. Before retiring to Florida he was a Meat Inspector for the Federal Department of Agriculture. He served in our United States Army as a CPL during the Ardennes Ctrl Europe & Northern France Rhineland, and some of his honors included the Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. Lawrence loved to bowl and was proud of the trophies he won! He was a great dancer and loved to travel, he has been on 22 cruises. He also loved to tutor children and volunteer at the nursing home during Bingo hour! He served on the Board of Directors for 15 years at the Regency Park Civic Association. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Gloria; Sons Lawrence(Debra) Roganti & Richard Bennett; Daughter Gigi(Robert) Steel; Grandsons; Jeffery Fitzpatrick & Lawrence Roganti; Granddaughters Sophia Roganti & Jennifer Roganti. A visitation will be held Monday at North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home from 11-1 & 5-7. A Chapel service will be Tuesday at 11. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
