the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2012. She was a US Army Veteran and of
the Protestant faith. She and her husband had owned and operated an
appliance repair business in Keyport, New Jersey. Ms. Joan’s enjoyed
her arts and craft but most of all being around her loving family and
friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Robert L. Strickland and her sister
Norman Woods.
She is survived by her sons Kevin Strickland and wife Patricia; Kieth
Strickland and wife Mary Ellen and Kirk Strickland; sister Bonnie Salt
Long; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Memorial gathering will be from 4:00 – 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 5, 2012
