After a hard fought battle with an aggressive condition, Jeanne Joeckl'e Burns passed away on February, 6, 2020, while under the care of hospice, at the age of 76. Jeanne was born October 4, 1943 in Metz, France to her father, Robert Joeckl'e and her mother, Pauline Polley. She grew up in a large family with three brothers, and four sisters.
Jeanne is survived by her two children: daughter, Corinne Burns, and son, Robert (Michele) Burns; granddaughters, Brittney (Zach) Randazzo and Emily Burns; brother, Emille Joeckl'e; and sister, Anne Joeckl'e. The children would especially like to thank all of their extended family and friends, along with the staff at Gulfside Hospice for their constant, attentive treatment.
A visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11am. A private burial at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL will follow.
