Jacqueline Caruso, age 76, of New Port Richey, Florida was called home on June 17, 2023 at Trinity Medical. Jackie was born on October 2, 1946 in Manhattan, New York to Kathleen and John Miller. Jackie married Joseph Caruso in St. Margaret Mary Church on March 13, 1965. Her greatest joys were her 2 daughters and 4 grandsons.
Jackie was a hairdresser who later went to work as a bus driver for Colts Neck Township schools in NJ. she loved watching the children grow up and enjoyed decorating her bus for the holidays. Jackie enjoyed arts & crafts and making flower arrangements. She loved baking christmas cookies and celebrating the holidays with family and friends. Since moving to Florida in 2021, she was able to do things she had never done like attending her first concert and taking a girls trip on a cruise. She loved living in Florida and watching the alligators in the lake behind her home. Jackie was a bright light in every room she walked into and gave her whole heart to everyone she knew without ever asking for anything in return.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents Kathleen and John Miller, and her husband Joseph Caruso.
She is survived by daughters Jacqueline Caruso and Danielle (Robert) Strauch. Grandsons Peter, Robert, Thomas and Nicholas. Her sisters Janet Majorana, Joanne Pino and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
