Irene Bacon, age 93, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2017. Born on October 12, 1924, in Passaic, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Petroski. Before retiring to Florida from West Milford, NJ, with her husband, she was an accountant by trade for Shulton, a former Cyanamid subsidiary in Clifton, NJ. Irene is preceded in death by her husband Howard (2011), and her son John (2012). She is survived by her daughter-in-law; Helen Bacon, granddaughters; Kelly (David) Fousse, Danielle Peano, and great grandson; Vincent Peano. Irene will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:30 am at North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652 (727) 849-9281.
