Frank was born in NYC, the first of six children of Michael and Rosa Porcelli. Frank is survived by his wife of 73 years, Ida Simonetti Porcelli. He is pre-deceased by his brother Michael and sisters Rosina, Graziella and Lida. He is survived by his youngest sister, Anna Baker, of Bremerton Washington.
Frank and Ida were blessed with three loving children, Raymond Porcelli of Dunedin FL, Linda Acevedo of Pomona NY and Diane Porcelli of New Port Richey FL. They were also blessed with five grandchildren, Albert Pickering of Pomona NY, Anthony Porcelli of Key West FL, Melissa Porcelli of Denver CO, Frank Miller of Orlando FL, Derek Porcelli of Dunedin FL and great-grandson Dominic Porcelli. He is also survived and loved by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends throughout the US and in Milan, Italy. Frank served in the US Army from 1943 to 1946 as a Technician Third Grade. He served on the European front with the the 10th Mountain Infantry Division. After his discharge he purchased his first home in the Bronx where his three children were born.
The family moved to Blauvelt in Rockland County NY in 1962. Frank and Ida moved to Holiday FL in 1982. A special thank you to the staff at Consulate Healthcare Nursing Facility where Frank spent his final year. The viewing will be on Monday, June 27th from 2-4PM and 6-8PM. Final Services for Frank will be at 11AM on Tuesday, June 28th at Meadowlawn Cemetery (4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL 727-849-9281) where Frank will rest in peace.
