Dorothy Kleinschmidt

Dorothy was born in Waterbury, CT where she graduated from Crosby High School. She later married Howard O. Kleinschmidt and moved to Peqannock N.J where they raised their family and she worked for the Peqannock Township High Schools for 30 years as a Media Secretary. She retired in 1996, and moved to New Port Richey, FL where she was active in the Gulf Harbors Civic Center. She enjoyed playing bingo, mahjong and cards. Her hobbies included crocheting, knitting, collecting elephants and she was a prior member of the Red Hat society. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family.

Dorothy is survived by four children Doreen Patternmann of New Port Richey FL, Walter Kleinschmidt (Gail) of Bloomfield N.J, Kristine Voyles (Keith) of Masaryktown FL, Gail Connelly (Walter) of New Port Richey FL. 15 Grandchildren; Israel Martinez, Louis Crespo, Raquel Coward (Greg), Micheal Connelly, Robert Patternmann Jr (Bethany), Kelly Barone (Lenny), Vincent Saldana, Rebecca Kleinschmidt, Kimberly Connelly, Kahla Voyles, Ashley White (Frank), Megan Kleinschmidt, Keith Voyles Jr, Kyle Voyles and Walter Connelly Jr. 3 great-grandchildren; Ella, Dominic, and Lilly.

Dorothy loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by her surving loved ones.

Service will be held Thursday April 21, 2016 at 1 pm at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery in New Port Richey, F.L.
