

Dan was an Equity Trader, starting his career on Wall Street at the age of 19, at Brown Brothers Harriman trading Gold. In 1983 Dan and his family moved to Connecticut to further his career at Cigna Investments. In 1990, Dan was the President of the Security Traders Association of CT. After leaving Cigna, Dan continued to work as a trader for various firms until retiring from Talon Capital in 2015 and moving to Florida.
Dan loved sports. Growing up he would play Ice Hockey with his cousins on the local pond in the neighborhood. In High School Dan played Football. While at Cigna he was in a coed Softball League and of course he was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. Dan also loved music. He played the Double Bass in the New Dorp High School Orchestra and played the Guitar in a band with his high school buddies. In his last moments Deanna played him some Led Zepplin.
Dan is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane, Beloved Daughter and Son in Law, Deanna & Owen Snow, Sister and Brother-in-Law Carol & Mario Mercier, Sister-in-Law Marie Baumann, several Nieces and Nephews and his brother from another mother, Bill Piscopo as well as his beloved dog Bella.
He was predeceased by his Beloved Daughter Amy, His Sister Claire and his Brother George.
A Celebration of Life is being held Saturday, June 24 @ 11:00am.
