Connie E. Macomber

Connie was born in Hillsborough County, Florida to Thomas & Constance Sweat in March 1948. She married Herbert O. Macomber in November 1971. She worked in the Pasco County School District for 20 years while raising her 2 sons.

After her retirement in 2008 and the loss of her husband of 36 years. Connie enjoyed her time with family and friends, traveling, shopping, and playing Bingo. Through the years she also loved to attend the Annual Marine Ball, and activities at the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Constance Sweat, her 2 brothers Stuart & Kenny Sweat, her husband Herbert Macomber, and Stepson Donald Macomber. She is survived by her 2 sons Kevin Macomber, Tom (Gwen) Macomber, her 2 sisters Gracie McGraw & Lori Levine, her partner, Norval Gillum, her 3 stepsons, Herbert, Charles & Mike Macomber, her 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Maddy and Thomas Macomber and many loving friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 6pm to 8pm at MeadowLawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison St. New Port Richey, FL. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th at 11:30am at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
