Harper, Caroline Hope Maytum, 87, passed to eternal rest on July 2, 2016. Born August 26, 1928 in Providence, RI, and a lifelong resident of New Port Richey. Predeceased by parents, Joseph & Bertha Maytum; O. Lavon Harper; and son, Kenneth Lavon Harper. Survived by daughter, Beth Ware (Joel); son, Stephen C. Harper; brother, William Maytum (Vonnie); grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Valedictorian of Gulf High School’s class of 1945, and surgical tech at West Pasco Hospital and Community Hospital until retirement.
Visitation on Friday, July 8, 6-8pm. Funeral services at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church on Saturday, July 9, 10AM with burial at East Elfers Cemetery; immediately followed by reception for friends and family at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home.
