Dr. Albert Arthur Bechtoldt, Jr., 83, passed away in Myrtle Beach, SC January 23, 2019 at Myrtle Beach Manor. Dr. Bechtoldt was born September 29, 1935 in Bloomfield, NJ, son of the late Albert Arthur Bechtoldt, Sr. and Adelaide Molkenthin Bechtoldt. He was a graduate of Yale School of Medicine as an Anesthesiologist. He was a Captain of the US Army, having served during the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by a nephew, Jimmy (Tawana) Michael and nieces, Debra Adam, Donna (Chris) Harrelson and Linda (David) Kan. Great Nephew, Ssgt. Jay Michael. Great nieces, Dr. Melissa (Austin) Motes, Katie Harrelson, Amanda Harrelson, Lisa Kan and Lauren Kan. A brother in law Jim Michael. Predeceased by his sister, Carolyn J. Bechtoldt-Michael.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 28, 2019 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL.
