William Waller Laurendine, III

William W. Laurendine, III, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 77. William was born on October 19, 1944 to the late William and Rose Laurendine, Jr.; he was the oldest of six siblings. He is survived by his wife, Susan Jacobs, Laurendine. He was a loving and devoted father to Tessa Boyce (Richard) and Tiffany Lanza (Brandon); grandfather to Logan, Zachary, and Jackson Boyce; step-grandfather to Madison Boyce; brother-in-law to his beloved sisters-in-law, Darleen Jacobs Levy and Patricia Jacobs; and uncle to Casey Ricks.

William was a graduate of Southeastern University, attended Aloysius High School, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and the Naval Reserve after his tour ended. He worked at Hibernia National Bank and FNJ, went on to own Dolly’s Deli and Convenience Store, and was a Louisiana Oil Marketer for 20 years, finally retiring at the age of 75.

William was an avid golfer, loved playing and watching sports, and enjoyed discussing the news of the day with friends and customers. He was very loved and will be missed greatly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM and will include a repast.
