Wallace is survived by his parents, Lou Anna Elkins and Alfred S. Elkins; his daughters, Shelly Brooks (James) and David Vance of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Amy Hoagland (Jason) of Anchorage, Alaska; his step-siblings, Sidney (Juli), Robert (Mary), Russel (Staci) and David (Joanie) Elkins and Becky Magner (Mitchel) and their families; grandchildren, Madigan and Sara Brooks, Ashlie and Jada Vance of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Kyle, Aby, Marlon, Matthew, Erica and Dominic of Alaska; his sister, Rita Cook (Richard) and brothers, Albert Vance of Texas and Joey Funck of Washington; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Wallace is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Kay Vance; his brothers, Larry Vance and Michael, Robert and Andrew Funck.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
