Tracy Tooker Griswold

Tracy Tooker Griswold passed away in her home in Metairie, Louisiana, on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the age of 63. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 8, 1961 to Patricia Walt Hays. She attended Ursuline Academy for 13 years and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Spring Hill College. While living in California, she was an event planner for several wineries; she did forensic bookkeeping and worked for four years as Danielle Steel’s personal assistant. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading mystery novels, swimming and traveling. Over the years, Tracy and her husband traveled to Jamaica, France, Italy and enjoyed cruising along the Amalfi Coast.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, George Turnure Griswold, Jr.

Tracy is survived by her loving mother, Patricia Walt Hays and William Hays “Daddy Bill”; supportive friends, Steve and Lisa Acheson; and her beloved dog, Zelo.

Tracy was laid to rest privately in All Saints Mausoleum.
