He is preceded in death by his parents, Laura Bond Stewart and James Thomas Stewart, Jr., and his brother, James Thomas Stewart, III.
Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Rosenberger Stewart; children, Dustie Stewart Carter (Gerald), Candice Stewart Bunkheila (Shelby), adopted daughter, Michelle Stewart, and stepdaughter, Rachel Elizabeth Murray; grandchildren, Zachary Aaron Carter and Elizabeth Megan Carter; siblings, Janet Stewart Nail (Tack) and Joseph Edward Stewart (Donna).
He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force at Kincheloe Air Force Base in Michigan from 1972 until his honorable discharge in 1975. He received his BS degree in Business with a major in Industrial Management from University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. He was also a member of USM Golden Eagle football team. Later, Timothy worked at Howard Industries, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer Specialist. He was an enthusiastic football fan, especially LSU and USM. He was also an avid fisherman.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11AM. A visitation will begin at 9AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ochsner Health System, Department of Philanthropy, Heart Transplant, at 1514 Jefferson Hwy., BH 607, New Orleans, LA 70121, in memory of Timothy Stewart.
