Thomas Alexander Bell, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Thomas A. and Francis Gairens Bell; brother of Frank Bell (Carol), and the late Billy Bell (Roseanne); former husband and mother of their children, Julie Faber; father of Tammy Bell, Christopher Bell (Shannon), and Mark Bell (Tiffany); grandfather of Wallace Jackson IV, Christopher Bell, Jr., Cody Bell, Zachary Bell, Caroline Bell, and Emma Kate Bell; and also survived by six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Thomas was born and raised in New Orleans. He was owner and operator of Bell Plumbing until retiring to his life of leisure with his friends at the Homedale Inn and fishing with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Interment will be private.
