Thomas Joseph Alombro, III

Thomas Joseph Alombro, III passed away on September 25, 2023 at 75 years of age. He was born in New Orleans on August 9, 1948 to the late Thomas Joseph Alombro, Jr. and the late Pearl Rita Rogers Alombro.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gail Spansel Alombro; children, Thomas Joseph Alombro, IV (Marta), Stephanie Ann Alombro Vaughn, and Jason Michael Alombro; grandchildren, Chloe Isabelle Star Alombro, Truman David Vaughn, and Miles Joseph Vaughn; brothers, Gerald John Alombro and Paul David Alombro; former son-in-law, Ramsey Paul Vaughn; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Thomas graduated from Redemptorist High School, attended the University of New Orleans, and was a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church. He enjoyed building and repairing, hunting and fishing, and loved listening to music. He also greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to Concerned Care Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation and memorial mass on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until mass at 2:00 p.m. The interment will follow on the same grounds at All Saints Mausoleum.
