Terry Roger Saux

Saux, Terry Patricia Roger, died October 27, 2023 at her home in Covington surrounded by her loving family. Born in New Orleans on December 7, 1950 to the late Roland J. Roger and Helene Camors Roger. Beloved wife of Steve Saux for 52 years, mother of Stephen, Jr. (wife Lori), loving Memere of Sophia Adele Saux and Liam Michel Saux. Sister of Roland J. Roger, Jr. (wife Maggie) and Helene Brignac (late husband Paul). Terry graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School in 1968 and Meadows-Draughon Business College. A former lobbyist for Louisiana Development Corporation, she moved to Folsom in 2005 and has resided in Covington since 2017. A member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Pastoral Council in Folsom. A hospice volunteer for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and 2017 recipient of the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion from the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, November 10, 2023 at 2 PM. Visitation will begin at 12 PM. Terry will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park following the chapel service.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
