Shirley Ann Bivalacqua Weil

Shirley Ann Ambrosia Bivalacqua Weil passed away on October 31, 2022. She was born on March 2, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating high school, she went on to a career in floral design and photography.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador J. Bivalacqua, Jr. and Josephine M. Ambrosia; brothers, Sal Bivalacqua, III, Lionel Bivalacqua, and Eddie Bivalacqua; sister-in-law, Carla Bruning; and brother-in-law, Dennis Weil.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Vincent Weil; daughters, Christina Weil von Seherr-Thoss and Stephanie Weil Cuneo; grandchildren, Elena Michel LeBlanc, Harrison Charles LeBlanc, and Jacob Ambrose LeBlanc; many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; sons-in-law, Anselm von Seherr-Thoss and Ryan Cuneo; sisters-in-law, Billie Bivalacqua, Carol Bivalacqua Earlene Weil and Marilyn Weil; godchild, Gina Caronia; and brothers-in-law, David Weil and Larry Weil; and two furry, feathered, loving pets.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans, on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. A graveside service will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
