Shirley G. Bruning, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and resident of Metairie passed away at Residence Inn on Friday, October 25, 2019 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Bruning, daughter of the late Adolph Gitz and Mamie Liccardi Gitz, sister of the late Clare Gitz Bruning, and loving aunt of the late Carla Bruning Bivalacqua; Shirley is survived by her great nephew Matthew John Bivalacqua.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4713 Richland Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana 70002 on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be in Metairie Cemetery.
