Sandra Sherrie Young passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the age of 47. Sandi was employed at Bistro Bryonz as a manager. She was previously employed by Copeland's, Zea and Keith Young's Steakhouse.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John W. Shelton, Louise Shelton, James Young Jr, and Josephine Young; and an aunt, Marie Young.
She is survived by her parents, Dr James J Young III and Sherry Higgins (Don); brother, James Young IV; sister, Christi Treadaway (Chad) and Shaun Roach; nephews, Joe and JJ; nieces, Jessica, Alexia, Sophia, Chloe and Olivia; and an aunt Pat Young.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 11:00AM followed by a Mass at 2:00PM. Interment will immediately follow at Metairie Cemetery.
