Ruth Rohli Alexander

Ruth Ann Rohli Alexander, 77, entered into eternal rest on December 10, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Rita Rohli, Sr. and her brother, Alfred Rohli, Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Otis B. Alexander, Jr.; son, Otis B. Alexander III (Jovi); daughter, Dawn Alexander Pisciotta (Darren); grandchildren, Alyssa Alexander Murphy (Corey), Zachary Pisciotta, Mitchell Alexander, Amanda Pisciotta and Matt Alexander; sister, Rita Rohli Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was born and raised in New Orleans. She was employed by Lighting, Inc. for 40 years and after retiring she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Ann and Divine Mercy Parishes. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff and caregivers with Inspired Living of Kenner, Louisiana. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans. Visitation will be held prior to the service and will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
