Rosemary Mano Ferro

She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harold R. Ferro, Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan A. Ferro; son, Harold R. Ferro Jr. (Diane); grandchildren Gregory Ferro, Albert Ferro, and Nicholas Ferro; great-grandchildren, Gregory Ferro Jr. and Tyler Ferro. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rosemary is a former owner and operator of Ferro’s Food Store, but most of all, she was a homemaker who greatly enjoyed time with her family. When she was not with her family, she played cards with her friends- a pastime that she participated in for over 60 years, she was a member of the Elenian Club. She was a parishioner of St. Rita (New Orleans).

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with mass officiated by Msgr. Henry J. Bugler at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
