Rose M. Ory

Rose M. Ory went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2014, at the age of 84. She was born on January 22, 1930 to Pete and Rose Milano. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Leonard C. Held and the late Francis J. Ory. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Louis Milano (Dorthy) and her son, Peter L. Held. Rose is survived by her son, Leonard C. Held, Jr. (Nora), her daughter, Susan H. Robinson (John), and her daughter-in-law, Cathy Held; her grandchildren, Scott Held, Rachel Seay (Darren), Michael Held, Laura Thomas (John), Heather Held, Emily Held, and Leonard C. Held III; and five great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Lakeside Hospice for the loving care they provided to Rose over the past three years. Family and friends are invited to attend the services at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
