Robert J. Young, Jr.

Robert John Young, Jr. passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 86. Born July 1, 1935 in Vero Beach, Florida to the late Robert J. Young and Anne F. Young, Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Anne Schmidt Young. He is also survived by his daughter, Marguerite Kock (Jimmy), his sons Robert J. Young, III (Katherine), Michael G. Young (Carlette), and Timothy J. Young (Helen), four grandchildren, Anne Kock, James Kock, George Smith and Julia Smith, his brother, Anthony T. Young (Linda), his brother-in-law Michael J. Schmidt (Phyllis) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob graduated from Spring Hill College in 1957 and Loyola Law School in 1960. He practiced law for over 50 years. He established his own law firm where he enjoyed practicing law with two of his sons. He also cherished many happy memories of times spent with family and friends in Pass Christian.

Bob served on the board of the Pass Christian Yacht Club and as President of the Board of Trustees of Spring Hill College. He was a member of the Pickwick Club, the Recess Club, Stratford Club, various Carnival organizations, and the Society of Colonial Wars. He was also a proud member of the Audubon Golf Course Hole in One Club.
