Robert John Hron Sr.

Robert John Hron, Sr., Born in New York City, a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on September 8, 2015, at the age of 80. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Betty Smith Hron. Preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Anna Daniels Hron.

Survived by his devoted children, Joel Maurice Hron (Pattie), Terry Hron Migliore (Jack), and Robert John Hron, Jr. (Theresa). Loving grandfather of his eight grandchildren, Patrick Hron, JT Migliore (Sarah), Joel Hron II (Bridget), Anna Migliore, Christin Hron Trusheim (Jay), Rebecca Hron, Amy Migliore, and Scott Migliore; and his five great grandchildren, Charlotte Hron, Jackson Migliore, Grace Trusheim, Jacob Trusheim, and Cameron Migliore. Also survived by his cousin, Margie Touché.

Bob was a chemical engineering graduate of Poly Technical Institute of Brooklyn and retired from the USDA Department of Architecture. Visitation will be held from 1pm - 3pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, La, with a funeral service to follow at 3pm. Interment will take place in Lake Lawn Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
