Rita Talamo LeBlanc

Rita Talamo LeBlanc passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late Leo Louis LeBlanc. She was the mother of Lloyd and John LeBlanc, Linda L. Matthew and Sharon L. Lanoux. Mother-in-law of Michael Matthew and Scott Lanoux. Grandmother of Kristi M. Stiles (Beau), Michael Matthew (Chantel), Morgan Lanoux (Travis Cross), Grant and Hannah Lanoux. Great grandmother of Brooklyn and Ella Matthew.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph Talamo and Carmela DiMarco Talamo. Sister of Frances Bouvier and the late Anthony Talamo, Russell Talamo, Salvador Talamo, Angelo Talamo, Rosie White, Lucy Cucchero, Mary Jouandot, Stella Johnson, and Mamie Talamo. She was also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews.

She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena parish.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
